By the way, I’m actually using my scanner as a backboard to draw another comic WHILE I scan these in. And listen to the “Rocky Horror Picture Show” soundtrack.
Have I mentioned that I plan on doing this for the rest of my life?

And I’ve got a signing! I’ll be selling/autographing the first published “Hurley and Joe” book, titled It’s Because I’m a Cactus, Isn’t It? at Mystery and Imagination bookstore (238 North Brand Boulevard Glendale, CA 91203-2610) on Sunday, February 12 from 2:00 to 4:00. Come on down! The more people, the merrier!
Edit: I fixed your spelling. –Corey
I would like to remind you all that I publish a new comic every OTHER day. I’m having some trouble with people only visiting once and never coming back, which my kind, benevolent advertisers and I really don’t like, so, come back the day after tomorrow and I can guarantee that there WILL be a brand new strip that you’ve never seen before. (Unless you’re one of the half dozen people I show previews to at school, in which case, you know who you are…)
O-kay, I have recently been informed that the whole “re-runs” thing IS, in fact, a truly God-awful idea, so I’ve gone through and re-scheduled everything back to the way it should be. This means it might be a couple days before my next post, which shouldn’t really matter, considering my internet traffic is in the toilet right now anyway, but it also means that when I do finally get the new strips scanned in, I might speed up the rate of publication to make up for the gap. (Yaayyy!!!!) I apologize for the inconvenience; as long as you keep in mind that I am still in HIGH SCHOOL at the time of typing this, the horrific scheduling mishaps should make a little more sense.
Ugh… I haven’t been able to make a “Kinkos run” to scan in new comics recently, and they aren’t particularly cheap when I DO make them, and since a lot of my readers only came in during the past month or two and haven’t read the earlier comics, I’m going to re-publish some of the older ones! YAAYYY!!! Think of it as “Winter Re-runs.” There are just short of 90 strips on the site, so there should be enough to keep even the most dedicated reader busy for a while. (If this whole “re-runs” thing is the most God-awful idea you’ve heard all week, feel free to rip me a new one on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Hurley-and-Joe/219278551444711) Again, I WILL be returning with new strips shortly, I just need to sort through them and get to a “Kinkos.” Adios.
Thanks!
